Back-to-School Art Camp: A Day of Creativity, Confidence, and Connection
Our Back-to-School Art Camp brought together ten bright young creators from grades 3–8 for a full day of hands-on imagination and artistic expression. Each child stepped into the workshop with curiosity — and left with new skills, new friends, and a deeper belief in their own creative power.
The day kicked off with a surprise challenge: every child received a mystery mini-figure and a bag of Lego pieces. From there, they built unique scenes that pushed their problem-solving and storytelling skills. Using their creations as inspiration, students then drew their scenes and wrote original stories that showcased their voices, humor, and ideas.
Throughout the day, campers practiced collaboration, shared encouragement, and explored art in ways that strengthened confidence and social-emotional growth. During our final share-out, every child proudly presented their Lego build, their drawing, and the story they brought to life.
The camp wrapped with open creative time — freestyle Lego building, continued drawing, and coloring — giving each participant space to relax, explore, and express themselves.
Our mission at Keep It Clean is to make high-quality arts experiences accessible, meaningful, and empowering. This camp delivered exactly that: a joyful space where kids felt seen, supported, and excited to create.
